The Harts Point property can be accessed from Interstate 70, off Exit 180, head south on U.S. Route 191 for about 70 miles to the junction of State Route 211, head southeast on 211 for about nine miles, turn northeast onto a good gravel road (sign-posted as the Harts Point Road) heading up to and on top of the mesa for about 8 miles: the property is about half a mile to the northeast and is crossed by several gravel and dirt tracks. Elevations on the Harts Point property range from about 6,500 feet at the mesa top to 5,600 feet in a gully-canyon. Precipitation is perhaps 10 – 15 inches per year. The mesa top is sparsely forested with juniper and pinion pine, and areas of sparse scrub brush. There is no history of previous exploration, and there are no old mines or prospects within the boundaries of the Harts Point property. But, the property is near a previously active uranium mining district
